Time to Talk About TikTok?

According to Hootsuite.com’s 2022 social media trends report, “TikTok will become the most important social network for marketing (??!).” We’ve talked about TikTok before on our blog, but based on its continued growth, it may be time to talk about it again.

The platform surpassed 1 billion users in September 2021 and grew by a whopping 1,157% between 2018 and 2020. Instagram’s monthly active users grew by just 6% in 2020, states the Hootsuite report, for perspective.

As with every good marketing communications strategy, your social media plan should begin with your target audience and goals in mind. Is your brand’s growth strategy closely tied to the teen or young adult market? Then now might be a good time to get an account handle and begin building some relevant content.
